Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of proven experience in bookkeeping with international clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring contracts and agreements with vendors, consultants, banks, tenants, contractors, municipalities, etc.
- Performing account receivable functions, including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue tracking.
- Conducting reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis.
- Managing data entry and overseeing bank reconciliation process.
- Gathering data for the preparation of monthly reports to track company financials.
- Preparing balance sheets, financial statements, and payroll documents.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of company books and records.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year proven experience as a bookkeeper with international clients.
- Knowledge of US Taxation is preferred.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid understanding of financial/accounting terminologies and practices.
- Good background in Quickbooks, Asana, and Excel.
- Tech savvy & familiar with current technologies, like desktop sharing, cloud services, and VoIP.
- Experience with word-processing software and spreadsheets (e.g., MS Office).
- Knowledge of online calendars and scheduling (e.g., Google Calendar).
