Job Title

A Cash Operations Manager is responsible for the administration and control of all technical aspects of branch cash operations including physical custody of monies, securities, and collateral.

This role requires strong knowledge of cash handling, banking controls, and compliance processes to ensure seamless client service and maintain a strong credit portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a branch banking operations officer and excellent attention to detail with a high level of integrity.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage and safeguard the physical custody of cash, securities, and collateral.
  • Deliver efficient and accurate cash services to enable the branch to provide a reliable and professional client experience.
  • Assist in marketing and cross-selling initiatives by ensuring staff are equipped to confidently offer relevant banking products and services to clients.
  • Participate in the evaluation of loan applications and renewals to help maintain a strong and healthy credit portfolio.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor Degree Holder.
  • Experience as a branch banking operations officer.
  • Strong knowledge of cash handling, banking controls, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with basic bank products and services.
