As a Trade Marketing Executive at Alpargatas S.A., you will play a critical role in driving business growth in the Asia Pacific region. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional strategic planning and execution capabilities.

Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement trade marketing strategies that support business objectives for IDM BU.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement trade marketing plans that align with business objectives for IDM BU.
  2. Distributor Partnership: Foster strong relationships with distributors to ensure seamless execution of our channel strategies.
  3. Calendar Management: Collaborate with the Trade Channel Manager to manage an integrated calendar for IDM BU and top markets, ensuring alignment with our channel strategy and JBP for top markets.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Brand team, DTC, Commercial teams, and Ops to ensure in-market execution aligns with brand plans.
  5. JBP Process Support: Provide support to the JBP process with markets.
  6. Visual Merchandising: Oversee visual merchandising layouts/guidelines and work with DTC and Retail team to ensure implementation.

Performance Metrics:

  1. Timely Asset Distribution: Ensure timely distribution of assets to distributors.
  2. Brand Image Consistency: Ensure proposals take into consideration brand image guidelines when executing commercially viable campaigns.
  3. Budget Alignment: Ensure all proposals/plans are within the pre-assigned seasonal/annual budget.
  4. Standardized Execution: Ensure standardized execution across channels as per brand/VM guidelines.

Performance Management:

  1. Business Deliverables: Work with markets to plan and track business deliverables.
  2. Integrated Calendar: Ensure the integrated calendar is linked to business performance and timely deliverables of assets to ensure sell in/sell through deliverables are met.
  3. Business Reviews: Participate in business reviews with markets and distributors – identify opportunities and work with cross functions to drive performance.
  4. Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to drive insights and actions in the business.

Requirements:

  • This role requires strong strategic planning, execution capabilities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across key markets.
  • A graduate or management trainee.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and multi-tasking abilities. Results-oriented, with an eye-for-detail.
  • Strong stakeholder management abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Cantonese, Thai, or Tagalog is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS-Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
