Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Our organization seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support the processing and management of invoices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process invoices accurately and efficiently using our accounting system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Verify invoice accuracy and completeness, including verification of valid General Ledger (GL) numbers.
  3. Investigate and resolve supplier discrepancies and issues in a timely manner, applying root cause analysis and proactive measures to mitigate future problems.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate financial records, adhering to established control procedures and ensuring alignment with corporate authority matrices.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts payable and/or general ledger accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
