Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Maintaining computer networks, including mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.
  • Managing and monitoring installed systems and infrastructure.
  • Installing and configuring network equipment.
  • Managing firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems.
  • Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance.
  • Proactively ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Coordinating and managing relationships with vendors and clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, SD-WAN, VPN, and Load balancing, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • In-depth knowledge with MS365 Active Directory, Azure, Cisco, and Fortinet firewall.
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
