About the Role

This Senior Site System Administrator position is a critical role within our organization, requiring a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee the technical operations of our systems and networks.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, including monitoring and supervising the support team, managing and organizing the closure of tickets, and assisting users with technical issues.
  • They must also be able to supervise the team in resolving Incident and Service request tickets, as well as providing excellent customer service across all departments.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in System Administration – Active Directory and Policies, as well as experience with Windows 7 Professional/Enterprise, Windows 8, Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise.
  • In addition to technical expertise, the candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being able to work effectively with users, team members, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Monitoring and supervision of support team in terms of desktop, laptop, and other user devices.
  2. Manage and organize the closure of tickets forwarded by Service Desk Team.
  3. Responsible for supervising the team in resolving Incident and Service request tickets.
  4. Supervise the team in assisting users with tools such as RDP, VPN, and other remote tools.
  5. Exhibit a patient, friendly, and approachable demeanor with users at all times.
  6. Ability to lead the team to provide excellent customer service across all departments.
  7. Ability to lead the team to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
  8. Coordinate properly with Client's designated contact person/s for the resolution of hardware and software-related problems and checking of equipment upgrade.
  9. Knowledge in System Administration – Active Directory and Policies.
  10. Technical support with regards to Windows 7 Professional/Enterprise, Windows 8, Windows 10 Professional/Enterprise.
  11. Network Client Connectivity (Windows, mobile devices & smartphone platform: e.g., Blackberry, iOS, Windows phone).
  12. Software installation or re-installation (licensed software only and Client's standard software).
  13. Configuration of software drivers of peripheral items.
  14. Virus Scanning and removal.
  15. Basic diagnostics and troubleshooting of hardware defects.
  16. Knowledgeable in Imaging tools.
  17. Restoration of files from Backup System when necessary.
  18. Replacement of defective parts.
  19. Coordinate warranty claims, repair, or replacement for those units still under warranty with other suppliers.
  20. Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities with the appropriate vendor maintenance provider and end-user.
  21. Submit documentation report on the current location and status of the unit or hardware that is being repaired.
