**Job Summary**

At Fashion Interiors Manufacturing Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely filing of tax returns and the remittance of taxes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure compliance with BIR regulations: Prepare and submit accurate and complete tax returns, including Withholding Tax, Value-added Tax, and Income Tax, within the prescribed deadlines.
  • Manage tax assessments: Handle all BIR tax assessments, including submission of required documents and correspondences with tax authorities.
  • Assist in customs audit: Participate in customs audits conducted by the BOC and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare annual financial statements: Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit.
  • Supervise accounting process: Supervise the accounting process of a related party company engaged in a trading operation.

**Requirements:**

  • Proficiency in tax laws and regulations: Strong knowledge of BIR tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues and external parties.
  • Highly organized: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
