The Mortgage Support Specialist is a pivotal role that requires strategic support to debt advisory teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and tax returns for informed decision-making purposes.
- Conduct market trend research, compile weekly intelligence reports, and coordinate valuations with lenders.
- Manage project timelines, follow up on disputes and reorders, and provide clear summaries and presentation materials from templates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and maintain a reference database for future use, ensuring effective client communication.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong understanding of the mortgage industry, including rates, products, and lending criteria in the Australian market.
- Proficiency in credit assessment, with expertise in reports, scoring, and serviceability calculations.
- Advanced financial analysis skills, covering complex income structures and statement analysis.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, focusing on NCCP and responsible lending standards.
- Technical proficiency in Quickli platform, Broker Engine, Excel/Sheets, and strong research methodology.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills, with ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Full-time employment, remote work arrangement via Employer of Record, core hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM PH Time).
