Financial planning is a vital process that helps individuals achieve their long-term goals and secure their financial future. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of senior financial planners by providing research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

The role primarily involves assisting senior financial planners with tasks such as:

  • Preparing comprehensive SOAs and ROAs that meet compliance requirements.
  • Conducting product comparisons and strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Assisting in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilizing financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
