Job Title: Financial Analyst and Reporting Specialist

The client specializes in providing fractional CFO services to subscription-based companies, empowering them with financial clarity, operational excellence, and strategic insights. They focus on delivering KPI dashboards, enhanced financial reporting, compliance optimization, and board reporting.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst and Reporting Specialist to support our clients by managing the back-end financial operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless financial modeling, analysis, and reporting while leveraging advanced tools to improve efficiency and automation.

  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to support decision-making for our clients.
  • Develop and enhance KPI dashboards and other performance tracking tools.
  • Automate manual processes in Excel, Power Query, and other platforms to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Provide support with FP&A functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the team to streamline financial workflows and optimize reporting structures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in FP&A or a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Expertise in Excel, Power Query, and tools like ChatGPT for automation and analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient communicator with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
