Financial Planning Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving financial models, analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, and supporting the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes.

You will also work closely with department heads to understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and build dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance. Additionally, you will extract and reconcile financial data from Sage and Planful for variance analysis and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes using Planful.
  • Partner with department heads to understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance.
  • Extract and reconcile financial data from Sage and Planful for variance analysis and management reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
  • Strong proficiency with FP&A tools for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with accounting software for GL and transactional data.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
