Staff Accounting Professional

The Staff Accounting Professional plays a vital role in overseeing the organization's general accounting operations and financial transactions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and experience in managing accountants and junior analysts.

  • Review and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Analyze financial data and create reports on the organization's financial status
  • Develop recommendations to optimize the company's accounting systems and procedures
  • Support and consult employees on accounting control procedures
  • Supervise accounting assistants and bookkeepers, plan their work, and assign tasks
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience working as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, Chief or Senior Accountant
  • Profound experience with typical accounting procedures
  • Good knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Good practical experience with accounting software packages, such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
