Job Title: Senior Accounting Professional

As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. You will be responsible for performing a range of accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, adjusting entries, and accruals
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist in reviewing and processing vendor invoices, inquiries, and statements of account
  • Track project/job costs and ensure costs are recorded to appropriate jobs or cost codes
  • Maintain and review monthly management credit card reports and employee reimbursements
  • Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends to support decision making
  • Utilize ERP/Accounting software for transaction processing, reporting, and analysis
  • Identify opportunities for process automation or improvement in accounting workflows
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies
  • Support external review and audit requests, including documentation and schedules
  • Ensure regulatory filings and tax reporting are supported with accurate data and on time
  • Partner with other departments to ensure accurate accounting and data sharing

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant required
  • 2-5 years progressive accounting experience is required
  • Experience in inventory and manufacturing is also required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
