Senior Tax Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Tax Accountant. This position involves preparing and filing tax returns, supporting accounting functions, and collaborating with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Collaborate closely with accounting staff to ensure data accuracy.
- Review trial balances and reports for compliance and completeness.
- Communicate professionally with clients via clear emails.
- Manage outsourced staff, including assigning tasks and reviewing deliverables.
- Conduct ongoing tax research to stay current with regulations.
- Assist with quarterly estimated tax calculations and annual tax planning.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- Bookkeeping experience with strong general ledger knowledge.
- Tax return preparation experience (Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 990).
- Proficiency in UltraTax and Fixed Assets CS.
- Experience using Soroban or Stanford Tax platforms.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and delegate tasks.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
