Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Functional Tester to join our team. As a key member of the software quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

  • Analyze provided requirements and specifications to identify test scenarios and cases.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing of our software applications.
  • Plan, estimate, and prioritize testing activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Create detailed test data and proof of tests to validate system functionality.
  • Identify, record, and document defects accurately and correctly to facilitate prompt resolution.
  • Track reported defects and collaborate with the engineering and product teams to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform UI, sanity, functional, regression, component, and end-to-end testing to ensure overall system quality.
  • Provide regular status reports on testing activities to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Expertise in using Azure DevOps for managing test plans, executing tests, and generating test reports.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including Agile development principles.
  • Hands-on experience in requirements analysis, test planning, test case detailing, and defect tracking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to quickly learn custom development frameworks and new technologies to adapt to changing project needs.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
  • Availability to start immediately and commit to a dedicated schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Manila Time).

  • Be available for scheduled and ad-hoc calls, meetings, and chats during weekday working hours.
  • Have access to a quiet, professional workspace suitable for video meetings and calls.
  • Use dual monitors (optional but preferred).
  • Be available to start immediately.
  • Acknowledge that all work and outputs will be covered by a standard Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, as well as an Intellectual Property Assignment Agreement, to protect both company and client information.
