Automated Test Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automated Test Engineer to drive the quality and reliability of our software products. As an Automated Test Engineer, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks, experience with test automation for frontend web apps, backend RESTful APIs, and SQL databases (data testing), and a solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability

- Collaborate with software developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues

- Create and maintain test plans and test cases

- Execute manual and automated tests to identify bugs and issues

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing

- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools and frameworks

- Experience with test automation for frontend web apps, backend RESTful APIs, and SQL databases (data testing)

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred
