Software Quality Assurance Professional

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. This involves developing and executing automated test scripts to validate software functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test suites to validate software functionality
• Utilize defect tracking and management tools to report and track issues
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, integrating testing suites to support continuous delivery
• Conduct API testing using tools like Karate to verify backend functionalities
• Maintain and update automated test scripts to adapt to changes in software features
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues
• Contribute to improving testing processes and implementing best practices
• Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across different environments and browsers
• Support UAT and production release cycles, ensuring seamless deployment and minimal defects

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in automation testing
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience in test plan development, test case creation, execution, and reporting
• Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus, showcasing a commitment to quality assurance standards
• Familiarity with automation scripting using Cypress and Selenium, with proven ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Experience with API testing using tools like Karate is an advantage
• Proficient in using Cypress and WebdriverIO for front-end and end-to-end test automation
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Java-based frameworks
• Experience working in Agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
• Skilled in using GitLab and Jenkins for CI/CD integration
• Solid background in testing both web and mobile applications (Android and iOS)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating testing suites to support continuous integration
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Knowledge of network message standards such as AS2805 or ISO standards
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence, Figma, Miro, and Slack
• Experience in financial services and fintech domain, with exposure to payment gateways, merchant platforms, and digital wallets
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage priorities in a remote or hybrid work setup
• Comfortable with fast-paced startup environments and adapting to changing priorities
