Job Description

The Contract Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of commercial contracting activities, including contract entry adjustments, reconciliation, and drafting.

This specialist will be responsible for maintaining adherence to BLD requirements and trade book integrity while fostering stakeholder management across multiple levels and functions.

The Contracts Operations team is a critical component of our order-to-cash responsibilities, ensuring that contractual commitments are executed as per requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships through constructive communication and provide regular feedback to peers.
  • Prioritize work in collaboration with key stakeholders, focusing on tasks that create value for the organization.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, engaging in cross-functional working groups to enhance functional excellence, governance, and general improvement initiatives.
  • Own and govern the contract process, underpinned by an intimate understanding of governance frameworks and strategies.
  • Provide advice on key commercial terms, understand the commercial strategy, and contribute feedback to key stakeholders.
  • Deliver clear messages tailored to different audiences and situations, approachable and genuinely caring about others, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Accurately and timely execute contracting activities in alignment with KPIs and processes, including contract management through SAP capture and manual drafting, iCertis/CLM, and reconciliation of key contractual terms.
