Job Overview

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst role is responsible for managing and implementing advanced security solutions, threat intelligence, and regulatory standards across various company and client environments.

This position requires expertise in cybersecurity, hands-on experience with security tools, and collaboration with clients, internal teams, vendors, and legal entities as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor security protocols to prevent incidents and respond effectively to security events using advanced tools and processes.
  • Conduct thorough investigations of escalated security threats and provide detailed analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address and resolve security incidents through timely communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity risks, tools, and trends to maintain a proactive approach.
  • Evaluate and optimize existing security solutions to ensure maximum effectiveness and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (associate's degree considered with relevant work experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information security and technology, including at least 2 years in security operations or incident response.
  • Relevant certifications for operating and managing security solutions (required).
  • Preferred: Security+, SSCP, CEH, GSOC, GSEC, or equivalent IR/forensics certifications.
  • Strong understanding of IT/service management concepts and familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF and CIS CSC.
  • Proficient with firewalls, SIEM, EDR, PAM/PIM, and network security tools.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
