Job Description:

The Accounts Officer is a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's financial activities. This position requires an individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage accounts, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

This role involves managing underwriting policies within authority limits, overseeing the issuance and release of policies/endorsements, and contributing to account management in coordination with accounts. The successful candidate will also perform underwriting within authority limits, set premium rates/terms and conditions for engineering products/special accounts, prepare complete working files for policy issuance, solicit new business by maintaining good relationships with agents/brokers/direct clients/reinsurers, and negotiate terms & conditions of policies/renewals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite policies within authority limits

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience in the insurance industry (an advantage)
  • At least 1 year experience (for Junior Accounts Officer) or at least 5 years of experience (for Senior Accounts Officer)
  • Ability to work at Makati City
