Job Overview

The Construction Head oversees site supervision and project accomplishment, adhering to safety, quality, timeliness, and cost efficiency metrics. He is responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of designated projects. Additionally, the Construction Head focuses on professional growth and development of subordinates and coworkers working on assigned projects.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain clear project scope from management, business development, and credit collection on annual construction targets for housing, land development, and amenities.
  • Collaborate with PICs, engineers, contractors, and other workers in assigned projects to ensure efficient performance and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and legal requirements necessary for continuous and successful operations of all systems in all locations.
  • Review and approve workflows, procedures, and construction set-ups to obtain maximum productivity and quality at the lowest possible cost.
  • Guarantee that all project process flows adhere to safety, quality, and timely delivery to ensure profitability of each project at minimum cost, with a strong focus on safety, solid workmanship, timely schedules, and competence.
  • Ensure that all major expenditures are thoroughly analyzed and relevant to project requirements to avoid unnecessary expenses. Prepare the annual Project Operating Plan for all assigned projects.
  • Ensure that all resources are available for the completion of the project as scheduled.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of BS Civil Engineering or BS Architecture, Licensed.
  • At least eight years of project or construction management experience in the construction and property development industry, both horizontal and vertical.
  • Knowledge in project management, planning, and relevant government codes (building code, structural code, DHSUD guidelines, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to be assigned in Biñan, Laguna and perform field work.
