Psychological Wellbeing Specialist

Job Overview:

  • The role of the Psychological Wellbeing Specialist plays a vital part in promoting psychological safety, emotional resilience and overall mental health within the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Individual Support Sessions
  • Conduct regular 1:1 support sessions to provide stress-reduction techniques, coping strategies and decision-making skills.
  • Provide immediate intervention support in response to urgent wellbeing needs.
  • Group Support Sessions
  • Facilitate regular group sessions focusing on peer support in a psychologically safe space to foster healthy working relationships and social connection.
  • Training & Development
  • Deliver training sessions including onboarding, well-being and resiliency training, and annual refresher training.
  • Observation & Support
  • Conduct daily floor walks to observe team interactions and employee demeanor for signs of distress.
  • Maintenance & Monitoring
  • Actively monitor and respond to direct communications from individuals across designated platforms.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Accurately record attendance and aggregate trends/topics in the organization's system of record within 24 hours of each session.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Master's degree in psychology is required.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience post bachelor's degree in mental health is necessary.
  • A valid and active license as a Registered Psychologist (RPsy) or Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC) is mandatory.
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English are essential.
  • Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools.
  • Excellent data management and administrative skills, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of client information and session records
