Electrical Lighting Controls Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Estimator to accurately perform takeoffs and cost estimates for electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans.
The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of lighting fixtures, lighting controls, and can efficiently translate drawings into precise estimates.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed takeoffs and cost estimates using Planswift or Bluebeam software
- Interpret architectural and electrical drawings, including reflected ceiling plans
- Identify and quantify lighting fixtures and controls from project documents
- Prepare accurate reports using Microsoft Excel
- Collaborate with the project team to verify and refine estimates
- Proficiency with Planswift or Bluebeam is essential
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Background in architectural and electrical projects is necessary
- Experience in electrical lighting controls and reflected ceiling plans is required
- Knowledge of lighting fixtures and controls for takeoffs is crucial
- Excellent attention to detail, strong spoken and written English skills
- Prior costing/estimating experience is an advantage
