Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and electrical technicians within the facility.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure proper installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical equipment, including motors, panels, PLCs, conveyors, control systems, and lighting.
  • Support and troubleshoot electrical and automation systems related to production lines, packaging machinery, and utility systems (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, water treatment).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP), electrical codes, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance records, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and energy efficiency.
  • Train and mentor team members to build technical skills and promote a safety-first culture.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of electrical parts and tools.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and projects related to facility improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Valid Electrical License or Certification.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a food manufacturing or similar fast-paced industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and automation equipment.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
  • Proven supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or respond to emergencies as needed.
