Contractor Care Specialist

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contractor Care Specialist to support various aspects of contractor care after offer acceptance. This role will involve assisting with the onboarding process, coordinating background checks and screenings, supporting timesheets, and checking in with contractors throughout their assignments.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple tasks, communicating clearly, and providing a positive experience for contractors. They will also have prior experience in onboarding or HR support, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.

This is an entry-level position that requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Psychology, Human Resources, or similar. The successful candidate will be able to follow processes and maintain efficiency while juggling various responsibilities.

  • Assist with contractor onboarding and ensure all required paperwork and steps are completed.
  • Support the coordination of background checks and client-required screenings.
  • Process and track contractor timesheets accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Check in with contractors regularly to ensure they have the necessary support and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, internal teams, and clients to address any concerns or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of contractor information and care-related documentation.
  • Additional projects as assigned in line with the goals of enhancing candidate, client, and employee experience through technology and process optimization.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in onboarding or HR support is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with contractors and internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree required (related fields such as Psychology, Human Resources, or similar are a plus).
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS systems (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Familiarity with US background checks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of onboarding processes and general HR requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-service-oriented demeanor.
