Job Title:

Senior IT Manager

Overview:

This is a key leadership position that oversees the overall strategy, direction and performance of IT operations. The successful candidate will lead and manage IT projects and infrastructure to ensure continuous business operations with a focus on applying AI to improve efficiency and enable growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and management skills with excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware and software systems. They should be able to coordinate with clients to ensure their teams have the necessary tools and support.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage IT projects and infrastructure to ensure continuous business operations.
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure they have the necessary tools and support.
  • Prepare and lead the implementation of ISO 27001 ISMS.
  • Lead and develop the IT support team through professional development and performance appraisal.
  • Ensure the security of data, network access and backup systems.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and escalations.
Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience in the IT, Telecommunications or ICT industry.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing and/or directing IT Infrastructure Operations.
  • Proven working experience as an IT manager.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Technical Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with firewall, switching/routing, network administration, Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Expertise or knowledge in telephony applications using VOIP and SIP.
  • Knowledge of common security standards (ISO, PCI, SOX etc).
