Job Description

The Senior Workday Expert serves as a key member of our team, providing strategic leadership and expertise in the design and delivery of Workday solutions.

They partner with sales teams to provide expert guidance on solution development and contribute to RFPs, proposals, and overall strategy.

In this role, the Senior Workday Expert leads functional workstreams, delivering robust and future-ready solutions in collaboration with Engagement Managers and project teams.

A broad knowledge of Workday products and deep implementation expertise are critical to success in this position.

Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with pursuit and sales teams to provide expert solution guidance.
  2. Develop effort and budgetary estimations aligned to customer needs.
  3. Ensure continuity of design intent during transition from sales to delivery.
  4. Provide quality assurance oversight on in-flight implementations.
  5. Cross-functionally collaborate with teams across various disciplines.
  6. Lead end-to-end functional solution design throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Provide functional leadership on multiple concurrent Workday implementations.
  8. Drive key client sessions to ensure robust solution design.
  9. Serve as the primary functional point of escalation for Engagement Managers and project teams.
  10. Promote continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of actual implementation experience.
  • Strong Workday implementation experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in diverse, fast-paced environments and effectively collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and analyze areas of risk and develop plans to mitigate.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel based on business needs.
