Job Summary:

Senior Corporate Actions Specialist

This position is responsible for monitoring notifications from Sub-Custodians and external vendors, processing complex issues via the corporate actions system, and ensuring timely resolution of cash and stock entitlements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and process complex issues via the corporate actions system
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to Corporate Actions team members
  • Ensure all cash and stock entitlements are fully reconciled and cleared from the SSR system
  • Document and reconcile internal relevant suspense accounts
  • Identify, document, and disseminate new procedures and controls
  • Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
  • May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
  • Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other team members

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Functional/industry knowledge
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of stock and cash reconciliations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • College or University degree in a related field
  • Relevant work experience in Corporate Actions or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
