Accounting Support Professional

A fast-growing organisation is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional to support its expanding finance team. This role provides administrative and accounting assistance to ensure smooth financial operations and enables senior management to focus on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance and Accounting Assistance
    • Provide day-to-day accounting and administrative support to the Head of Finance.
    • Assist with monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary.
    • Support offshore teams with supplier invoice processing and reconciliations.
    • Maintain and monitor fixed asset registers.
    • Assist with journal entries to ensure financial record accuracy.
    • Prepare and journal weekly payroll.
  • Month-End and Year-End Support
    • Assist offshore teams in month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Prepare supporting reconciliations and documentation.
    • Assist in producing management accounts for the leadership team.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Help prepare clear, concise, and meaningful financial reports to support decision-making.
  • Administrative Support
    • Manage the finance inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner.
    • Handle supplier setup and process local invoice payments.
    • Process sales reimbursements and company expense claims.
    • Maintain vehicle compliance requirements.
    • Update daily cashbooks to ensure accurate cash flow records.
  • Ad Hoc Support
    • Provide additional assistance on finance projects and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Must have 5+ years of solid accounting experience, including multi-entity accounting.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and across multiple entities.
  • Comfortable operating in a global environment with different currencies and time zones.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal); prior global exposure valued.
  • Team management and leadership experience is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is ideal.
  • Proficiency in payroll processing and awareness of current AI/automation trends in finance.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid CPA license is a plus.
