Medical Coding Trainer Position

This position is responsible for conducting medical coding education for new and existing medical coders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops curriculum and training syllabus related to coding and billing training programs, including modules for medical coding and billing training.
  • Maintains knowledge of ICD 10 CM, ICD 10 PCS, CPT and HCPCS coding guidelines, ensuring that training content stays current and accurate.
  • Updates existing training modules to reflect changes in coding regulations and best practices.
  • Creates assessments to evaluate learner understanding and identifies areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of any Medical or Allied Medical course or has equivalent work experience.
  • Certification from AAPC or AHIMA.
  • Proficient with Revenue Cycle Management, E/M and Procedure Coding.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and analytical skills.
