Job Title: Patient Services Representative Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls according to procedure and departmental standards.
  • Provide assistance to patients with their queries and concerns.
  • Collect outstanding balances from patients.
  • Support third-party entities, such as insurance companies, regarding patient accounts.
  • Place outbound collection calls in accordance with procedure and departmental standards.
  • Offer support to patients with billing queries and concerns.
  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve department and company goals and policies.
  • Evaluate the need for good attendance and timely return from breaks.
 Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A college graduate or at least 2 years of education in a medical field-related course.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • The capacity to handle confidential information.
  • Sufficient mathematical calculation skills.
  • Detailed-oriented and organized with strong time management skills.
  • Proficient in using email and other digital tools.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with flexibility in scheduling.
