Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement efforts in Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) and capital projects. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic planning, supplier relationship management and cost optimization across various areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for MRO and capital projects, aligning with the company's objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage suppliers, negotiating contracts and fostering strong relationships.
  • Optimize costs through market trend analysis, price negotiation and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage procurement activities for capital projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels for MRO materials, preventing production delays and minimizing storage costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards and internal policies related to procurement.
  • Track key performance indicators, analyze procurement data and provide reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Engineering background, preferably in civil, mechanical, electrical or structural engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in MRO and projects procurement in a manufacturing company.
