About the Role

Our client, a global fintech innovator, provides hyper-configurable payment processing and wallet infrastructure solutions.

The company supports clients across 24 countries from offices in Tokyo, Singapore, Brisbane, and London.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's growing global finance team.

This role will report directly to the Accounting Manager and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and AR reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Billing and Collections: Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics
  • AR Management: Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies, record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis
  • Contract Review: Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms, support revenue recognition reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze AR aging reports to proactively address collection risks, prepare reports related to AR, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company
  • Advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel
  • Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO) and financial compliance standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Collaboration Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and geographies
