Job Title: Custom Furniture Draftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to create detailed custom furniture shop drawings, conduct rendering and takeoffs, and ensure precise execution of designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed millwork and furniture shop drawings based on architectural and interior design specifications
  • Generate accurate takeoffs and material lists to aid in project estimation
  • Develop high-quality 3D renderings to visualize design concepts
  • Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Ensure drawings are fabrication-ready with correct dimensions, joinery details, and material specifications
  • Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in millwork drafting, furniture detailing, or interior architectural drafting is essential.
  • Proficiency in Revit, CAD, and Mozaik (or similar millwork software) is required.
  • A strong understanding of joinery, materials, and furniture construction methods is necessary.
  • Experience in rendering software for design visualization is beneficial.
  • The ability to interpret architectural drawings and translate them into detailed millwork shop drawings is crucial.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce highly accurate technical drawings are must-haves.
