Job Title: Custom Furniture Designer

We are seeking a skilled Designer/Draftsperson to create precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in producing technical drawings and proficiency in software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. A strong background in custom woodwork design is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create accurate and detailed drawings for custom furniture projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications.
  • Prepare shop drawings and construction details.
  • Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements.
  • Ensure all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork.
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings.
