Job Title: Custom Furniture Designer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced designer to join our team in creating unique, custom-designed furniture projects. As a Custom Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed, accurate technical drawings and specifications for custom furniture projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Create precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects
  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, and craftsmen to ensure designs meet specifications
  • Prepare accurate shop drawings and construction details
  • Modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements
  • Ensure all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required)
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques (highly preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings
