Procurement Specialist

The role of Procurement Specialist is to support the Inventory Planning and Procurement initiatives by taking ownership of day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring timely and accurate placement of purchase orders. This includes negotiating PO terms with vendors to reach acceptable agreements, monitoring vendors' compliance with agreed ship dates, and tracking all orders and shipments to ensure correct and on-time delivery of goods.

About the Job Description
  • Supports the Planning team in the execution of demand forecasting and supply planning by creating, managing, and auditing large data sets.
  • Partners with merchant teams in planning for New Product Introductions, collaborating with the Operations team in shipment scheduling and warehouse allocation, and facilitating the transfer and implementation of data between various systems, databases, and spreadsheets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or other related course with quantitative background.
  • Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in procurement involving purchase orders, which also entails analyzing data sets in support of various Inventory Planning and Procurement initiatives preferably gained from a multinational environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with other teams on the conduct of in-depth cross-functional projects that have a direct impact on business outcomes.
