Accounting Leadership Role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead and manage our accounts payable function. In this capacity, you will be responsible for processing purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process all purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation, ensuring seamless communication with vendors.
  • Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely and accurate payment processing to maintain positive relationships with vendors.
  • Collaborate closely with purchasing teams and vendors to resolve any discrepancies or exceptions in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary accruals, reconciliations, and reports to facilitate efficient financial management.
  • Assist in audits by providing required schedules, reports, and supporting documents to ensure compliance and transparency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in US accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa) to effectively manage accounts payable functions.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, reconciliations) to analyze data and identify trends.
  • Knowledge of financial close processes and variance analysis to drive business decisions.
  • Experience preparing reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential for success in this role.
