Senior Accountant Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage and oversee the daily operations of our accounting department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements with significant experience in using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.

This is a full-time role that requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial data.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, overseeing month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
