About Product and Packaging Development

Job Description:

This role is responsible for ensuring a smooth product development lifecycle, including managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and analyzing financial data to ensure profitable partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, including all direct communication, sample sourcing, pricing negotiation, and timeline management.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses for new & ongoing products, including cost and margin analysis, using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure profitable outcomes.
  • Product Development Support: Work closely with the product development team to understand product requirements and ensure that activities align with product development timelines and budgets.
  • Sourcing New Suppliers: Identify and source new suppliers to meet business needs.
  • Timeline Management: Manage timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all new products launched per season.
  • Contract Negotiation: Ensure Production team conducts contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Ensure all internal documents are up-to-date at all times for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Packaging Development: Collaborate with internal designers and external suppliers to develop packaging solutions.
