A financial professional is sought to oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Key Responsibilities:- Accounts Payable: Set up new vendors, collect W-9 forms, reconcile vendor statements, protect confidential information, review invoices, perform 3-way matching, ensure proper GL coding, enter invoices, resolve discrepancies, apply credits, maintain payment schedule, track and manage billings and payments for accuracy and timeliness, collaborate with internal teams.
- Accounts Receivable: Apply payments to invoices, verify deductions and credits, retrieve remittance advice, regular AR reconciliations, maintain AR records, resolve discrepancies, reconcile online sales and bank deposits, review AR aging, monitor unapplied payments, prepare customer statements as needed.
- Financial Expertise: Background in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficient with accounting platforms and Excel/Google Sheets; NetSuite experience is a plus.
