Job Description

As a customer project manager, you will be responsible for initiating, planning, and executing commercial projects for external customers. Your key responsibilities include creating agreements, achieving project objectives, and balancing schedule, cost, quality, and requirements.

Key aspects of this role include:

  • Assessing customer sites during pre-sales, agreeing on project scope, risks, timelines, technical feasibility, and pre-calculating project costs.
  • Advising during acquisition phases and overseeing all project phases.
  • Verifying and agreeing on project objectives, and formulating project plans with stakeholders based on the contract.
  • Understanding margin management to influence and control margins during acquisition and execution.
  • Managing relations with customer management representatives.
  • Following processes to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations (Quality, Regulatory, Health & Safety).
  • Identifying project risks, issues, and changes, and developing response scenarios.
  • Identifying project opportunities and collaborating with Key Account or Business Development Managers.
  • Managing resources, project budget, stakeholder communication, planning, quality, customer acceptance, transition to service, and project evaluation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • Qualification in business or contract management is advantageous.
  • Certified Project Manager; PMP highly preferred.
  • 8-10 years of project management experience in equipment installation, infrastructure delivery, or construction projects in a B2B environment.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience in contract and risk management, supply chain, and working with large, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • High software literacy: MS Office, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce.
