Job Overview

This is a highly organized and experienced production specialist position overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing and production process of fine or fashion jewelry.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in jewelry making, vendor coordination, materials sourcing, and production workflow management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure quality control and timely order fulfillment.
  • Manage production schedules, allocate workloads, and track progress across internal teams and external manufacturers.
  • Coordinate with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters to bring designs to life.
  • SOURCE and manage relationships with material suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain detailed production documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines.
  • Implement and enforce quality control standards across all stages of production.
  • Forecast inventory needs and ensure all necessary materials are procured on time.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, minimize delays, and optimize efficiency and cost.
  • Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and logistics teams to align production with customer demand and seasonal launches.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in jewelry production or manufacturing management.
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, processes, and supply chain.
  • Familiar with CAD/CAM and jewelry design software.
  • Strong vendor and supplier management experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and quality.
  • Experience communicating with vendors and factories.
  • Understanding how to read a CAD.
  • Knowledge in Diamonds.
