Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Jewelry Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing and production process of fine or fashion jewelry.

This role requires a highly organized individual with a proven track record in jewelry production, who can manage daily operations, allocate workloads, and track progress across internal teams and external manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production schedules and workflows to ensure quality control and timely order fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters to bring designs to life.
  • Sources and manages relationships with material suppliers and subcontractors (casting, polishing, plating, etc.).
  • Maintains detailed production documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines.
  • Enforces quality control standards across all stages of production.
  • Forecasts inventory needs and ensures all necessary materials (metals, stones, findings) are procured on time.
  • Troubleshoots production issues, minimizes delays, and optimizes efficiency and cost.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in jewelry production or manufacturing management.
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, processes (casting, stone setting, polishing), and supply chain.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM and jewelry design software.
  • Vendor and supplier management experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and quality.
  • Experience communicating with the factory.
