Our company is seeking a skilled professional to manage the production process of fine or fashion jewelry.The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensuring quality control and timely order fulfillment. They will also manage production schedules, allocate workloads, and track progress across internal teams and external manufacturers.The ideal candidate will have experience in jewelry production or manufacturing management and possess strong knowledge of jewelry materials, processes, and supply chain. They should be familiar with CAD/CAM and jewelry design software, as well as vendor and supplier management.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of daily production operations
  • Management of production schedules and workload allocation
  • Coordination with designers, CAD teams, bench jewelers, casters, and stone setters
  • Source and manage relationships with material suppliers and subcontractors
  • Maintenance of detailed production documentation including BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost sheets, and timelines
  • Implementation and enforcement of quality control standards
  • Forecasting of inventory needs and procurement of necessary materials
  • Troubleshooting of production issues and optimization of efficiency and cost
  • Collaboration with sales, merchandising, and logistics teams
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in jewelry production or manufacturing management
  • Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, processes (casting, stone setting, polishing), and supply chain
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM and jewelry design software
  • Strong vendor and supplier management experience
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and quality
  • Experience communicating with factories
  • Understanding how to read a CAD
  • Knowledge in diamonds
