Logistics Operations Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to facilitate same-day deliveries across the US. This role involves dispatching runs, communicating with cross-functional teams, and interacting with drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dispatch deliveries in assigned markets, creating efficient routes based on driver schedules, customer needs, and service level due times.
  • Mastery of logistics software is required.
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to resolve issues promptly, maintaining a calm and professional tone.
  • Demonstrate expertise in project management tools and ticketing systems.
  • Provide direct and efficient communication and immediate feedback to drivers.
  • Achieve high delivery metrics for all assigned markets.
  • Offer positive feedback to managers regarding driver supply needs and performance.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of clients, drivers, and market-specific needs.
  • Work assigned shifts with flexibility, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsible and dependable.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to new software technologies and learn from changing market conditions.
  • Experience running operationally efficient projects and teams.
  • Familiarity with business operations software.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment.
