Family Care Advocate Job Description">

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Care Advocate to join our team. As a Family Care Advocate, you will be responsible for empowering underserved families to access care by collecting, reviewing, and tracking required documentation. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in need.

The Role:

  • Collect, review, and track required documentation from caregivers and families (e.g., IDs, certifications, health records).
  • Making outbound calls and responding to inbound inquiries to guide families through the documentation process.
  • Handle high-volume phone interactions daily while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and ensure all documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with state and Medicaid/Medicare regulations.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with families via phone, text, and email.
  • Maintain organized records and track expiring documents, sending timely reminders.
  • Collaborate with onboarding, credentialing, and family support teams to deliver a smooth experience.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in customer service, administrative, or healthcare support roles.
  • Proven experience handling high-volume inbound and outbound calls in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail when reviewing documents.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with healthcare documentation, HIPAA, or Medicaid is a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (verbal and written) is a strong plus.
