About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a critical role in preparing and implementing comprehensive financial plans for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with financial advisors to develop and implement customized financial plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Conduct thorough research on insurance products, superannuation, tax strategies, and other relevant financial concepts
  • Analyze reports and data to inform strategic financial decisions
  • Present financial plans to clients and facilitate discussions on implementation and progress
  • Gather and maintain accurate financial information and documentation from clients
  • Stay up-to-date on legal documents related to insurance products and provide expertise as needed
  • Manage and update client information within our database system

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior financial operations role or similar position in the insurance industry
  • Accounting or financial analysis background is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and MS Office software, with ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially in calculations and financial reporting
