Key Responsibilities
  • Producing high-quality financial planning statements of varying complexity in a timely manner as directed by the business.
  • Ensuring that all critical advice documents are sent within designated time frames.
  • Managing turnaround times and deadlines appropriately to meet customer expectations.
  • Researching existing and potential replacement products to prepare recommendations for clients in an advisory document.
  • Preparing statements in accordance with Best Interest Duty obligations and procedures.
  • Liaising with the Advisory Team to follow up outstanding requirements.
  • Providing administrative support to senior team members, including policy administration and document preparation.
  • Remaining up-to-date on approved financial products and services.
  • Reviewing, understanding and applying regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Financial Requirements
    • Understanding of financial planning and advice documentation (Minimum DFP and RG146).
    • Knowledge of current legal and industry regulations and frameworks.
    • Understanding of regulatory obligations.
    • Products and services knowledge.
    • Proficiency in XPlan software.
    • Familiarity with Risk Researcher and WealthSolver tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in the financial planning industry.
    • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
    • Strong understanding of the financial planning industry in Australia.
