Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Assistant to support our financial teams.

About the Role:
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and journal entries.
  • Process invoices, refunds, and credits, and provide assistance with collections.
  • Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
  • Analyze and resolve finance-related issues.
  • Support ad-hoc financial operations tasks and data entry.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure efficient financial workflows.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial operations, accounting, or bookkeeping.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and dependable with solid time management.
  • Able to work independently and make proactive decisions.
  • Proficient in communication tools like Slack and Gmail.
  • Able to work full-time during any US time zone (EST/CST preferred).
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Familiarity with billing platforms (Chargebee, Stripe, Recurly, etc.).
  • Background in startups, SMEs, freelancing, or remote administration.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
